MAVAL steering gear boxes are remanufactured and tested to OEM specifications. Our process includes the inspection and replacement of worm/thrust bearings, bushings, and the inspection of ball guides, balls, and the sector shaft. All original snap rings and O-rings are replaced. Each steering gear box has the MAVAL part number etched into the housing as well as a serial number for traceability. All MAVAL gear boxes are 100 percent lash calibrated for precision performance.
